The person behind GearConnect
Marty has spent over 15 years in live events and entertainment. Working across various roles, from technician, LX programmer and designer, product manager, and professional developer. From small local theatres to some of the biggest stages on the planet, his work spans theatre, concerts, touring productions, TV, corporate events, and more.
Having done countless system drawings for various projects, he jumped around various solutions, never quite landing on one that ticked all the boxes. Looking for something more industry specific than generic drawing applications, while being more accessible than large CAD / AV software, he decided to build his own solution to fit the gap in the middle, and thus, GearConnect was born.

The person behind the gear
A library is only as good as the data inside it. Andrew keeps GearConnect's gear library accurate and growing. He reviews customer submissions and requests, researches specs, and builds out items so every piece of gear has the right ports, connectors, and signal types.
