Improvements

    • SD-SDI speed
    • RGB/YPbPr signal
    • Word Clock signal
  • Removed the following library port options:
    • World Clock category - All existing World Clock categories have been reset to the Sync category, and the port's signal has been set to Word Clock instead

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed some older project files not opening when a new version of the app tries to upgrade those projects to the latest version, while the app was also trying to update any changes from the server since the last time the file was saved
  • Several improvements to opening projects, with better error handling and feedback to the user regarding any issues
  • During a failed project open, the app no longer asks you to save the non-existent project while it is trying to exit the current project
  • In some rare situations, fixed the app still receiving project updates from the server even after the project was closed, and no new project was selected

PIXERA and HELIOS added to the library

1.8.0 (2024-09-09)

PIXERA and HELIOS added to the library

Thank you for all your feedback so far! We still have a lot to work through, but we are happy to add AV Stumpfl's PIXERA and Megapixel's HELIOS to the default library. Both use expansion cards to configure their options, so please refer to their manufactures on available options.

Authorization and security improvements

We have made improvements to our authentication system to provide stronger security for user accounts. As a side effect, all users will need to log-in again next time they visit the app.

Improvements

  • Video distribution category now supports expansion cards
  • Added micro BNC as a port type
  • Enabled BNC ports to connect to SFP cages using an adapter

Bug Fixes

  • Mini Display Port connections were failing to validate if an adapter was required
  • Fixed text width issue on the changelog not filling the full space

1.7.3 (2024-09-06)

Bug fixes

  • D-Sub ports were missing colours in the drawing
  • Copying and pasting a port within the same library item, and then changing the options on the new port, would never clear the duplicate port error

Copy and paste ports in the Library Editor

1.7.2 (2024-09-02)

Copy and paste ports in the Library Editor

You can now select one or more ports in the Library Editor, copy them to the port clipboard, and then paste them back onto any gear. This should drastically help speed up editing multiple pieces of gear that have common ports. You can use the buttons in the Library Item Port Config or CTRL+C and CTRL+V keyboard shortcuts.
